Hi! My name is Tracey J. Coates. I’m a Partner and Co-Chair of the Metro DC Family Law practice at Cipriani & Werner. I’m also a Certified Life Coach and Mediator. In my law practice, I represent a diverse range of family structures in various domestic relations matters. My areas of expertise include pre-marital agreements, divorce and separation, child custody, child support modification, enforcement of court orders and agreements, adoption, and guardianships. Additionally, I practice Collaborative Law.
I have published numerous articles on a wide array of Family Law issues and am a frequent presenter and commentator at events. My appearances on radio and television are regular, reflecting my commitment to providing insight on these important topics. This includes divorce coaching, where I offer compassionate support and strategic planning to help navigate the emotional and logistical challenges of marital dissolution. I take pride in my ability to empower my clients, helping them reclaim their independence and move forward with confidence and clarity. My approach is always tailored to the individual, recognizing and honoring the uniqueness of each person's journey.
